Cal State LA Athletics

2019-20: Had his best season with the Golden Eagles and completed his Cal State LA career. Was one of only two players to appear in all 29 games. Started 27 times. Was second on the team in scoring with 11.5 points per game. Also averaged 4.2 rebounds per game. Was third on the team with 31 steals and 11 blocks. Reached double figures in scoring 18 times, including three of the last four games. Had one of the team’s biggest baskets of the season when he rebounded his own miss, powered through two defenders and scored the game-winning points in a 66-65 win at Cal State Dominguez Hills (12-19-19). Scored a career-high 25 points in an 81-66 win over Sonoma State (12-21-19). Led the team in scoring six times and in rebounding eight times. For his career, appeared in 57 games with 41 starts. Played a total of 1,270 minutes. Averaged 9.5 points and 3.9 rebounds per game.

2018-19: Did not compete in any games for the Golden Eagles and was a redshirt.

2017-18: Had an impressive first season with the program. Appeared in all 28 games and started 14 times. Was fifth on the team in scoring with 7.4 points per game. Reached double figures in scoring 10 times, including four of the last seven contests. Started the last six games of the season. Had a season-high 16 points in an 84-74 win at Cal State Monterey Bay (2-10-18). Had 13 points in five different games. Was fourth on the team in 3-point field goals made with 31.

At Citrus College: Earned honorable mention Western State Conference recognition. Averaged 10 points, five rebounds, 1.4 assists, two steals and one block per game.

At Los Osos High School: Averaged 7.8 points, 7.4 rebounds, 1.9 steals and one block per game. Earned All-Baseline League honorable mention and received the Grizzly of the Year award from the school.

Personal: Son of Naim Williams and Lois Jenkins. Majoring in Kinesiology. Enjoys playing basketball and video games. Lists scoring more than 50 points in a game as his most exciting experience in sports. Notes he is taller than the majority of his family and has six brothers and sisters.
