Cal State LA Athletics

2019-20: Had a strong season for the Golden Eagles in his one year with the program. Appeared in 26 games with 10 starts. Played a total of 514 minutes. Averaged 9.8 points and 2.4 rebounds per game. Was fifth on the team in scoring. Made his Cal State LA debut and had 18 points and three rebounds against Concordia-Irvine (11-8-19). Hit all six of his field-goal attempts and all four of his free-throw tries while scoring a season-high 19 points in 20 minutes against San Francisco State (12-5-19). Also had 19 points against Cal State East Bay (2-8-20). Made all 12 of his free-throw attempts and had 17 points against Chico State (1-2-20). Matched the program record for highest free-throw percentage in a single game with the 12 makes. Reached double figures in scoring 10 times. Had nine points and a season-high five rebounds at Cal Poly Pomona (1-9-20).

At Santa Monica College: Averaged 13.7 points and 5.6 rebounds per game while shooting 43 percent from 3-point range. Was No. 86 in the top-100 for California Junior College players. Averaged 10.3 points and 10.3 points and 4.5 rebounds per game as a freshman. Was listed at No. 40 in the top-100 for Freshman Junior College players in California. Earned first-team All-Conference honors as a sophomore.

At Fairfax High School: Team won a City Section championship in 2015. Averaged 11.7 points and 6.6 rebounds per game and shot 38 percent from 3-point range. Earned first-team All-League honors and received the team’s Most Improved Player award.

Personal: Son of Michael Ajiboye and Felicia Masha. Majoring in Pan-African studies. Enjoys watching movies, eating, sleeping, watching anime and playing basketball. Lists playing for a city championship in high school and scoring 19 points, grabbing seven rebounds and shooting 40 percent from the 3-point line as his most exciting experience in sports. Notes his parents are from Lagos, Nigeria. Says he was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, moved to New York when he was four years old and to Los Angeles when he was nine years old, turning 10. Says his uncle Alonzo and uncle Harold put the basketball in his hand when he was 10 and he’s been in love with the sport ever since.
