Cal State LA Athletics

2018-19: Showed tremendous improvement for the Golden Eagles in his second and final season with the program. Appeared in 25 games and started 14 times. Played a total of 542 minutes. Averaged 5.5 points, 2.4 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game. Earned the California Collegiate Athletic Association Championship Scholar Award, Had a season-high 15 points in a 65-61 win at Sonoma State (2-2-19). Reached double figures in scoring four times. Had eight-points, including a game-tying 3-pointer at the end of the first overtime in a four-overtime thriller against Cal Poly Pomona in a CCAA Tournament semi-final game (3-8-19). Played a career-high 51 minutes in the game. For his career, appeared in 53 games and started 35 times. Played a total of 1,176 minutes. Averaged 6.2 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game.

2017-18: Had a solid first year with the program. Appeared in all 28 games and started 21 times for the Golden Eagles. Averaged 6.9 points and 2.5 rebounds per game. Had a season-high 17 points against Sonoma State (1-12-18) and poured in 16 points at Cal State Dominguez Hills (2-3-18). Reached double figures in scoring eight times. Also an excellent student and earned California Collegiate Athletic Association All-Academic honors.

At Citrus College: Earned first-team All-Western State College honors as a freshman and sophomore. Was named Citrus College’s Male Athlete of the Year in 2016-17.

At Chino Hills High School: Earned first-team All-Sierra League honors as a junior and senior.

Personal: Son of Kenneth and Jeanyva Cyprian. Majoring in broadcast journalism. Enjoys reading up on sports history. Lists winning championships as his most exciting experiences in sports.
