Cal State LA Athletics

2021: Was on the roster, but team did not compete due to COVID-19 in his final year with the program.

2020: Was a key part of the pitching staff in his first year with the program before the season was halted. Made five starts and had a 1-2 record with a 6.84 earned run average. Walked 22 and struck out 24 in 25 innings pitched. Shared the team lead with five starts and was second in innings pitched and strikeouts. Made his Cal State LA debut and allowed only one earned run over five innings against Dixie State on Feb. 9. Picked up a victory in his last start after allowing only six hits and two runs over a season-high six innings in a 14-5 win at Stanislaus State on March 7. Struck out a season-high eight over five innings in a 9-7 win over Cal State Monterey Bay on Feb. 16.

At West LA College: Threw a total of 63 2/3 innings over two seasons. Was 3-8 with a 4.93 earned run average as a sophomore and earned All-Conference honors. Was second on the team in innings pitched.

At El Segundo High School: Competed in baseball.

Personal: Son of Randy and Carie Boyce. Majoring in Political Science. Enjoys working out. Lists competing as his most exciting experience in sports.
