2021: Was on the roster, but team did not compete due to COVID-19, in his final year with the program.

2020: Had a sensational season for the Golden Eagles in his first year with the program. Quickly established himself as one of the team’s best pitchers before the season was halted. Made a team-high eight appearances, all in relief. Had a 1-1 record with a 0.82 earned run average. Walked five and struck out 13. Was fourth on the team in strikeouts. Made his Cal State LA debut and pitched two scoreless innings against Dixie State on Feb. 8. Picked up his first win after tossing three scoreless inning and striking out a season-high five in an 8-7 win at Stanislaus State on March 8. Allowed only one earned run in his eight appearances. Also appeared in two games as a shortstop and hit .500 with one hit in two at bats.

At Hamilton High School: Earned All-City honors in 2018 and 2019.

Personal: Son of Moises and Maria Amador. Is an undeclared major. Enjoys playing co-ed softball, watching baseball games and going to the beach. Lists beating his school’s rival with a walk-off in extra innings as his most exciting experience in sports.
