Cal State LA Athletics

2018-19: Had a productive season for the Golden Eagles and completed his Cal State LA career. Appeared in 19 games with three starts. Played a total of 204 minutes. Averaged 2.8 points, 1.8 rebounds and 0.7 assists per game. Scored a career-high 20 points and had six rebounds in a 123-61 win over Bethesda (12-7-18). Also had six rebounds in a 65-61 win at Sonoma State (2-2-19). For his career, appeared in 64 games with four starts. Played a total of 465 minutes. Averaged 1.9 points, 1.0 rebound and 0.3 assists per game.

2017-18: Appeared in 17 games for the Golden Eagles in his third season with the program. Played a total of 57 minutes. Had a season-high 10 points in 15 minutes in a win over Bethesda (11-21-17). Also hit a 3-pointer in a win at Cal State East Bay (2-5-18).

2016-17: Appeared in 11 games in his second season with the program. Made his first career start at Cal State San Marcos (12-31-16). Poured in a career-high 13 points in 19 productive minutes against La Sierra (1-25-17). Knocked down three 3-pointers and was 4-of-8 from the floor. Knocked down a key 3-pointer against Cal Poly Pomona (1-7-17).

2015-16: Played through injury and contributed immediately in his first year with the program. Appeared 17 games and a total of 137 minutes. Averaged 2.2 points, 1.0 rebound and 0.4 assists per game. Had a season-high six points after knocking down a pair of 3-pointers in a CCAA Championship Tournament semi-final game against Humboldt State (3-4-16). Also had six points with a pair of 3-pointers made in a win over Cal State Dominguez Hills (2-2-16). Played a season-high 23 minutes and scored five points with three rebounds in a win at Cal State San Marcos (2-6-16). Had a season-high three rebounds four times.

At Tennessee Martin: Was on the team’s roster, but did not compete in any games and was a redshirt.

At Westwind Prep: Completed his high school eligibility after attending school in Britain. Represented England in tournaments. Averaged 16 points, eight rebounds and five assists per game and shot 53 percent from 3-point range for Westwind Prep. Graduated from Charnwood College in Britain before coming to the United States to complete his high school eligibility.

Personal: Son of Carl Hitchman and Veronica Winter. Majoring in communications. Enjoys cooking. Lists playing on England’s national team as his most exciting experience in sports.
