2007: Had an outstanding second season for the Golden Eagles in her final year with the program. Appeared in 26 matches and 91 sets. Led the team with 294 kills and was second on the team with 326.5 points. Was third on the team with 211 digs and third in aces with 12. Also had 28 blocks. Earned second-team All-California Collegiate Athletic Association honors and was named to the NCAA Pacific Regional All-Tournament Team. Had a career-high 23 kills and 11 digs in a five-set match at Cal State Monterey Bay on Oct. 4. Had 20 kills and a career-high 18 digs in a five-set win over Cal Poly Pomona in an NCAA first-round playoff game on Nov. 15. Also had 20 kills and 12 digs in a four-set win over Central Washington on Aug. 25. Reached double figures in kills 16 times and double figures in digs 12 times. Had 12 double-doubles. For her career, appeared in 45 matches and 121 sets. Had 329 kills, 37 blocks, 12 aces and 223 digs.

2006: Made a successful debut for the Golden Eagles. Appeared in 19 matches and 30 games. Collected 35 kills and nine blocks. Recorded a season-high six kills against Chico State on Sept. 23. Also had five kills against Cal State Dominguez Hills on Sept. 2 and four kills and a season-high three blocks at Cal Poly Pomona on Sept. 27.

At Victor Valley JC: Was the team’s Most Valuable Player as a sophomore and the team’s Best Offensive Player as a freshman. Earned first-team All-Conference honors in 2002-03 and was on the All-Southern California regional team in 2002-03.

At Victor Valley HS: Was the team’s Most Valuable Player as a senior and earned first-team All-Conference honors. Earned second-team All-Conference recognition as a sophomore and junior. Was the Best Offensive Player as a freshman.

Personal: Daughter of Dan and Ulla Gorospe. Majoring in Kinesiology. Enjoys sports, being creative and cooking. Lists the day she found out she broke three records at her junior college for kills, aces and hitting percentage as her most exciting experience in sports.
