Cal State LA Athletics

2012: Was on the roster, but did not compete in any meets for the Golden Eagles in her one year with the track and field program.

2011: Competed in three events for the Cal State L.A. cross country team in the fall. Had a best 5,000-meter time of 18:14.2 while finishing 42^nd in the UC San Diego Opener. Had a best 6,000-meter time of 25:08.3 at the Cal State Northridge Invitational.

At Riverside Community College: Had a personal best time of 19:01 over 5,000 meters in cross country.

At Roosevelt High School: Earned honors with distinction all four years in high school and earned Most Valuable Runner and Coaches’ Awards. Was a scholar-athlete and graduated ranked 13^th in her 2009 graduating class of more than 500 students.

Personal: Daughter of Alex and Mayra Miranda. Majoring in business administration and nutritional science. Enjoys fishing, hiking, exploring, biking and PC tablets.  Lists competing in the Foot Locker Cross Country Championships and hanging out with her teammates as her most exciting experiences in sports. Says she wants to one day own her own restaurant and/or become a registered dietician.
