Cal State LA Athletics

2012: Had a strong season for the Golden Eagles in her one year with the track and field program. Had best marks of 2:48.41 in the 800 meters and 5:17.53 in the 1,500. Finished 21st in the 1,500 and 25th in the 800 at the California Collegiate Athletic Association Championships 

2011: Competed well for the Cal State L.A. cross country team in the fall. Was a consistent top-seven runner for the Golden Eagles. Finished 82^nd in the California Collegiate Athletic Association Championships with a 6,000-meter time of 24:00.3 and placed 129^th in the NCAA West Regionals with a  time of 24:53.0.

At El Rancho High School: Earned academic honors. Took third place in the league finals in the two-mile in track and field. Took fifth place in cross country.

Personal: Daughter of Benjamin and Yolanda Hernandez. Majoring in biology. Enjoys sleeping, running, music and eating.
