Cal State LA Athletics

2012: Had a strong season for the Golden Eagles in her one year with the program. Finished 10th in the heptathlon at the California Collegiate Athletic Association Championships. Had best marks of 28.16 in the 200 meters, 2:32.84 in the 800, 18.57 in the 100 hurdles, 4-11 in the high jump, 14-10.75 in the long jump, 26-1 in the shot put, 99-10 in the javelin and 3,614 points in the heptathlon.

At Mountain View High School: Competed in volleyball, soccer, track and field and cross country. Was Most Valuable Player on her volleyball, soccer and track and field teams. Earned All-County, All-Region and All-State honors in track and field. Earned an Academic Achievement Award. Attended Mountain View and Monterey high schools.

Personal: Daughter of Zdenek Ficenec and Hana Becker. Majoring in mechanical engineering. Enjoys running, reading, hanging out with friends, adventures, the beach and travel.  Lists going to Florida for a cross country race as her most exciting experience in sports.
