Cal State LA Athletics

2012: Had a strong season for the Golden Eagles in her one year with the program. Had best marks of 12.69 in the 100 meters, 25.22 in the 200, 58.49 in the 400 and 18-3.25 in the long jump. Finished fourth as part of Cal State L.A.'s 4x400 relay team and fifth as part of the Golden Eagles' 4x100 relay team at the California Collegiate Athletic Association Championships. Also finished 13th in the 200 and 15th in the 400. Also competed in indoor track and field and had best marks of 8.19 in the 60 and 17-5.25 in the long jump.

At American River Junior College: Finished fourth in the state in the long jump and earned All-America honors. Is in the school’s top-3 all-time in the long jump and top-10 in the 4x400 relay and 4x200 relay. Was a Scholar-Athlete and received her AA degree in social science.

At Sacramento High School: Was on the varsity track and field team for four years and played volleyball as a freshman. Earned Metro League championships in the 400 and 4x400 relay in her senior season. Was the Team Captain as a senior and the Most Valuable Athlete. Was in the top 15 percent of her graduation class.

Personal: Daughter of Will and Theresa Davis. Majoring in math. Enjoys eating and sleeping. Lists placing fourth in the state in the long jump in only her fifth time jumping and making the 4x400 state relay team as her most exciting experiences in sports. Says she enjoys long walks on the beach.
