| Box Score 2 IRVINE -- Cal State LA's women's tennis team completed the fall portion of its 2024-25 season over the weekend at the UCI Fall Invitational.

The Golden Eagles played singles matches against UC Riverside and doubles contests against UC Irvine on Friday and finished the invitational with singles matches against UC Irvine and doubles contests against UC Riverside on Saturday.

Newcomer Maldini Simic had the Golden Eagles' highlight on Friday, beating UC Riverside's Niki Shabazzi, 6-0, 6-3 in a single match.

On Saturday, the doubles team of Hideka Takamura and Sarah Olmos posted an 8-5 win over UC Riverside's Yu and Crystal Kim.

Cal State LA will return to competition on Sunday, Feb. 2 in a home match against Jessup as the 2025 spring dual match season begins.
