LOS ANGELES -- Two members of Cal State LA's women's tennis team have been named to the 2026 CSC Academic All-District Women's Tennis Team, selected by the district's College Sports Communicators, the organization announced on Tuesday.

Mane Sargsyan both earned the all-district honors for the Golden Eagles.
The awards honor student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America program (formerly known as the CoSIDA Academic All-America program) recognizes women's tennis honorees in four divisions - NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
To be considered for the honor, a student-athlete must be a starter or key reserve with a cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 at his/her current institution. Nominated athletes must be in the lineup for 70 percent of the total matches played by the team that includes team scores. Student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically to be eligible.
Parr, a junior transfer from Academy of Art, played in 12 dual matches for the Golden Eagles, competing in four matches at No. 2 singles and eight at No. 3 singles. She was also a key part of the doubles lineup and played in 11 matches, 9 of them at No. 1 or No. 2 doubles.
She is majoring in fashion, fiber and materials and is carrying a 3.87 cumulative grade point average.
Sargsyan, a junior transfer from Glendale Community College, also played in 12 dual matches for the Golden Eagles, four at No. 3 singles and eight at No. 4 singles. She was a steady doubles contributor as well, primarily at No. 2 doubles.Â
Parr and Sargsyan were 1-4 at No. 2 doubles as a team.
Sargsyan is majoring in animation and carries a 3.58 grade point average.
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs.
