Biography

2024-25: Had an outstanding season and was a big addition for the Golden Eagles in her first year with the program. Ended her first season with a No. 14 ranking in singles in the NCAA Division II West Region. Led the team with seven singles wins and had a team-high six wins in dual matches. Had a 6-2 record in dual matches, including a 4-0 mark at No. 1 singles. Was 7-4 overall. Had a 5-6 overall record in doubles, including a 4-3 mark in dual matches. Was 4-3 in dual matches with Sofia Pavlova, including a 3-2 mark at No. 1 doubles. Was sidelined due to injury, but returned to complete the season. Picked up her first points for Cal State LA in a 7-0 win over Jessup on Feb. 8. Teamed with Pavola for a 6-2 win at No. 1 doubles and then posted a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 2 singles. Earned 2024-25 Academic All-Pacific West Conference honors.

At Hope International: Played as the team’s No. 1 player for two seasons. Earned All-America honors in 2023 and was the NAIA Freshman of the Year and Best Rookie of the West. Earned All-Conference honors in 2023 and 2024.

At Alderley Edge School for Girls: Competed in tennis, rounders, netball, badminton, hockey and swimming.

Personal: Daughter of Milenko and Jane Simic. Majoring in political science. Enjoys reading, writing, playing piano and walking. Lists reaching nationals in 2022 as her most exciting experience in sports. Notes she is a huge fan of music and that her favorite team of all-time is Manchester United.
