Cal State LA Athletics

2011: Had a strong season for the Golden Eagles in her one year with the track and field program. Finished 12th in the 10,000 meters and 16th in the 1,500 at the California Collegiate Athletic Association Championships. Had best marks of 2:24.32 in the 800, 4:52.23 in the 1,500, 11:00.61 in the 3,000, 18:35.96 in the 5,000 and 39:25.35 in the 10,000 in outdoor track. Also had best times of 2:34.04 in the 800 and 5:18.61 in the mile during the indoor season.

2010: Was one of the top newcomers on the Cal State L.A. cross country team in the fall. Finished 23^rd in the California Collegiate Athletic Association Championships with a time of 23:03.7 over 6,000 meters. Placed 73^rd in the NCAA West Regionals with a time of 25:03.4.

At Victor Valley Community College: Won the individual champion and also helped Victor Valley to a team championship.

At Silverado High School: Won three team championships in cross country and one in track and field.

Personal: Daughter of Bertram and Patricia Taylor. Majoring in photography/Kinesiology. Enjoys collecting music, writing stories, running, dancing and hanging out with friends. Lists running at the Footlocker Championships and getting in the Top-10 as her most exciting experience in sports. Says she is very outspoken and fun and loves to be adventurous.
