Summary

Biography

2010: Had a second solid season for the Golden Eagles as a sophomore. Earned points for the team in the California Collegiate Athletic Association Championships after finishing seventh in the discus. Also competed in the shot put and javelin in the championship meet. Had the team’s best mark in the discus with a throw of 126-0. Also had best marks of 40-9.50 in the shot put and 94-11 in the javelin. Also competed for the Golden Eagles in the indoor season. Had a best mark of 42-00.75 in the shot put. 

2009: Had a strong first season for the Golden Eagles in track and field last year. Earned All-California Collegiate Athletic Association honors by finishing second in the shot put with a mark of 42-00.50. Also had best marks of 114-11 in the discus and 77-8 in the javelin. Also did well for the Golden Eagles in the indoor track and field season. Had the team’s best shot put mark (42-3.25).
 
2008: Competed for the Golden Eagles in women’s basketball in 2007-08. Appeared in 14 games and started four times before suffering a season-ending knee injury at San Francisco State. Averaged 1.9 points and 2.8 rebounds per game and was one of the team’s top defenders. Was unable to compete in track and field because of the knee injury.
 
At Kearny High School: Was named the San Diego Section Field Athlete of the Year and competed in the shot put and discus. Won a CIF Division 2 championship in the discus in 2007 and was the San Diego Union Tribune Division 2 Field Athlete of the Year and the Western League Field Athlete of the Year. Was a three-year team captain in basketball. Earned first-team All-Eastern League honors as a senior and was a San Diego Union Tribune All-Academic Athlete. Averaged 13.7 points, 13.0 rebounds and 4.1 assists per game. Earned Division 3 first-team and All-Eastern League second-team honors as a junior. Received Division 3 second-team and All-Eastern League first-team honors as a sophomore. Team was the Division 3 runner-up in 2004 and 2006.
 
Personal: Daughter of Foy Harris and Tammy Mariano. Majoring in Kinesiology. Lists winning a CIF championship and going to state in high school as her most exciting experiences in sports.
