Summary

Biography

2014: Concluded an outstanding four-year career with Cal State L.A.'s volleyball team. Finished her career as the all-time program leader for digs with 1,606. Led the team for a fourth straight season digs with 405. Recorded 31 digs and broke the program record for career digs at Cal State San Bernardino on Nov. 13. Reached double figures in digs in 23 matches and had 20 or more digs six times. Also had 77 assists and four service aces. For her career, appeared in 106 matches and 398 sets. Had 1,606 digs, 288 set assists and 42 aces.

2013: Competed well for the Golden Eagles in her one year with the track and field program. Had best marks of 13.77 in the 100 meters, 27.64 in the 200 and 61.38 in the 400. Finished 19th in the 400 at the California Collegiate Athletic Association Championships and 26th in the 200. Had the team's top mark in the 100. Was one of two Cal State L.A. recipients of the 2012-13 Dr. Hal Charnofsky Memorial Award from the CCAA for academic and athletic accomplishments.

At La Serna High School: Was the Del Rio League Most Valuable Player in volleyball as a senior and also earned All-San Gabriel Valley first-team honors.  Team won three consecutive league championships while going undefeated and reached the CIF quarterfinals in 2009-10. Was on the school’s Honor Roll in 2009-10 and was on the President’s List and Spanish Honor Society in 2010-11. Competed in volleyball and track and field.

Personal: Daughter of Tony and Sara Reyes. Majoring in biology. Enjoys hiking and rock climbing. Lists competing in the CIF quarterfinals two years in a row and going to Junior Olympics in 2009 as her most exciting experiences in sports.
