Cal State LA Athletics

2014: Had an outstanding season for the Golden Eagles in her final year with the program. Finished sixth in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the California Collegiate Athletic Association Championships. Had best marks of 10:50.49 in the 3,000 and 11:34.15 in the steeplechase. Had best marks of 5:33.87 in the mile and 11:10.10 in the 3000 in indoor track. For her career, had best marks of 2:32.87 in the 800, 5:05.33 in the 1,500, 10:50.49 in the 3,000, 18:45.13 in the 5,000 and 11:34.15 in the steeplechase. Finished her career No. 6 all-time at Cal State L.A. in the steeplechase.

2013: Had best times of 5:05.33 in the 1,500 meters and 18:45.13 in the 5,000. Also had her best season with the Cal State L.A. cross country team in the fall. Was consistently in the team’s top-five throughout the season. Finished 36^th in the California Collegiate Athletic Association Championships with a time of 23:22.2 over 6,000 meters. Was also 84^th in the NCAA West Regionals with a time of 24:04.7. Placed 11^th at the Rose City Classic in Pasadena with a time of 19:43.7 over 5,000 meters.

2012: Competed for the Cal State L.A. track and field team in the spring and had best times of 2:32.27 in the 800 meters, 5:13.71 in the 1,500 and 11:42.74 in the 3,000. Also ran for a second season with Cal State L.A.’s cross country team in the fall. Was the team’s No. 4 runner in the CCAA Championships and finished 53^rd with a time of 23:59.6 over a 6,000-meter course. Was the team’s No. 6 runner in the West Regionals and finished 155^th with a time of 26:48.6.

2011: Competed in one cross country race for the Golden Eagles in the fall. Finished 110^th in the Cal State Northridge Invitational with a 6,000-meter time of 26:04.1.

At San Bernardino Valley College: Competed in cross country and track and field. Also attended Chaffey College.

At A.B. Miller High School: Earned a silver medal for academic honors in 10^th grade.

Personal: Daughter of Balvinder Singh and Siounder Kaur. Majoring in Kinesiology. Enjoys running and watching documentaries. Lists winning a 4x400 relay race as her most exciting experience in sports.
