Cal State LA Athletics

2014: Completed an outstanding four-year career with Cal State L.A.'s volleyball team. Appeared in 25 matches and 97 sets. Was third on the team in kills with 265, third in aces with 20, third in blocks with 60 and second in points with 315. Earned second-team All-California Collegiate Athletic Association honors. For her career, appeared in 86 matches and 314 sets. Had 662 kills, 233 blocks, 45 service aces 430 digs and 828 points. Finished her career No. 8 all-time in block assists with 224.

2013: Joined the track and field team and contributed in her one year with the program. Had a best mark of 5-3 in the high jump. Finished 16th in that event at the California Collegiate Athletic Association Championships. 

At Alta Loma High School: Competed in volleyball and earned team’s Best Offense and Most Valuable Player awards as a senior.

Personal: Daughter of Dedgrick and Dana Carter. Majoring in anthropology. Enjoys reading, eating and sports. Lists winning a bronze medal with her 17 elite volleyball team at the 2009 Junior Olympics as her most exciting experience in sports.
