Cal State LA Athletics

2017: Made a big impact for the Golden Eagles in her one year with the program. Started all 17 games for the Golden Eagles. Played a total of 1,413 minutes, which was fourth on the team. Had two assists for two points. Had the assist on Adyson Willett's game-winning goal in a 1-0 victory over Cal State San Marcos on Sept. 22. Also had an assist on a goal by Paulina Chaidez in a 2-1 win over Stanislaus State on Oct. 26.

At New Mexico State: Voted by her teammates as the 2015-16 Offensive Player of the Year. Was on the 2015 Preseason All-Western Athletic Conference team. Ranked sixth in program history in scoring with nine goals and 24 points. Had four goals and three assists for 11 points in 2015 as a sophomore. Notched three goals and one assist for seven points in 2016 as a junior. Was third on the team in scoring both seasons. Played in all 22 matches as a freshman and made 12 starts.

At St. Lucy’s Priory High School: Was a team captain as a senior and earned team offensive Most Valuable Player and rookie of the year honors. Team reached the CIF playoffs in three straight years. Also ran track in high school.

Personal: Daughter of Intisar Abdelkader. Majoring in public health. Enjoys watching Game of Thrones, Shameless, Law and Order SVU, Parks and Recreation and The Office. Notes she has three siblings, brother Sammer and sisters Lena and Iman.
