Cal State LA Athletics

2017: Had an outstanding season with the Golden Eagles in her second and final season with the program. Was one of the team's top players once again. Earned third-team All-West Region honors from the United Soccer Coaches and received All-California Collegiate Athletic Association honorable mention. Appeared and started in 15 games. Played a total of 1,124 minutes. Was second on the team in scoring with two goals and three assists for seven points. Scored the game-winning goal in a 1-0 win at Humboldt State on Oct. 22 and had the game-winner in a 2-1 victory against Stanislaus State in the Golden Eagles' next game on Oct. 26. Had assists in wins against Fresno Pacific on Sept. 9, at Cal State San Bernardino on Sept. 15, and San Francisco State on Oct. 15. For her career, appeared in 33 games and started 32 times. Played a total of 2,289 minutes. 

2016: Had a strong first season with the Golden Eagles and was one of the team’s top players. Appeared in 18 games and started 17 times. Was named to the CCAA All-Tournament Team after helping the Golden Eagles advance to the title game. Scored one goal and had three assists for five points. Was fourth on the team in scoring and shared the team lead in assists. Scored the second goal in a 2-0 win over Cal State Monterey Bay on Sept. 30. Assisted on Marie-Lou Larose’s game-winning goal in a 2-0 win at Cal State San Bernardino on Nov. 1 in a CCAA Tournament first-round game.

At University of the Pacific: Appeared in 37 games with 36 starts in her two years with the NCAA Division I program. Was voted the Co-Rookie of the Year by her teammates after contributing two goals and two assists for six points as a freshman. Started all 19 games as a sophomore and had two goals in three assists for seven points.

At Leigh High School: Was the captain of her team as a senior. Earned first-team All-League honors as a junior and senior and was the Most Valuable Player of the Senior Showcase Game.

Personal: Daughter of Jose Leonardo Munoz and Olivia Aguilar. Majoring in communications with a minor in Spanish. Enjoys watching Drumline videos. Lists training with Mexico’s Women’s National Team and being on the U.S. Women’s Futsal National Team as her most exciting experiences in sports.
