Cal State LA Athletics

2019: Concluded her Cal State LA career after a third outstanding season. Appeared in 18 games and started 10 times. Played a total of 613 minutes. Recorded an assist on what turned out to be the deciding goal by Lauren Sanchez in a 2-1 win over Stanislaus State on Sept. 27. Earned 2019-20 California Collegiate Athletic Association All-Academic honors. For her career, appeared in 48 games and started 12 times. Had a total of four goals and two assists for 10 points.

2018: Had a sensational second season with the Golden Eagles and led the team in scoring. Had a team-high four goals and one assist for a total of nine points. Appeared in 17 games and started twice. Scored both Cal State LA goals in a 3-2 loss at Cal State San Marcos on Oct. 21. Notched her first goal of the season in a 1-1 tie at Chico State on Sept. 14 and got the game-winning goal on a dramatic free kick from about 30 yards out in a 1-0 victory over Cal State Monterey Bay on Oct. 6.

2017: Saw playing time in her first season with the program. Appeared in a total of 13 games and 308 minutes. Made her Cal State LA debut and played 29 minutes in a 1-0 win over Azusa Pacific on Aug. 31. Played a season-high 38 minutes in a 1-0 win over San Francisco State on Oct. 15.

At Pierce College: Scored 10 goals and had 10 assists for a total of 30 points in 2016. Was the Conference Player of the Year.  Earned All-Region honors and was the team’s Most Valuable Player.

At Cal State Northridge: Was on the roster for two seasons, but did not compete in any games.

At El Camino Real High School: Earned the team’s Freshman of the Year award and picked up second-team All-League honors. Team won CIF championships in 2011, 2012 and 2013 and was a state champion in 2013.

Personal: Daughter of Francisco Ramirez and Mayda Perez. Majoring in television and film. Enjoys cooking, listening to audio books and podcasts, Batman at night and is a loyal Game of Thrones fan. Lists the sound of the ball hitting the back of the net, the feeling of Game Day, being loud, creating bonds with her teammates, the will to win and being a part of something special as her most exciting experiences in sports. Trained with the Guatemalan national team for three days during the summer.
