Summary

Biography

2022: Made contributions once again for the Golden Eagles in her final year with the program. Appeared in four games and a total of 30 minutes. Was sidelined by injury and didn’t play again after a short stint against Point Loma on Sept. 17. Played a season-high 14 minutes in a 2-2 tie against Simon Fraser on Sept. 10. Made her season debut and played five minutes against Azusa Pacific on Sept. 1. Earned 2022 California Collegiate Athletic Association Fall Academic Honor Roll recognition. For her career, appeared in 28 games with three starts. Played a total of 635 minutes.

2021: Showed tremendous improvement and had a big increase in playing time for the Golden Eagles in her second season of competition. Appeared in 15 games with three starts. Played a total of 420 minutes. Made her first career start for the Golden Eagles and played 52 minutes in a 1-1 tie at Concordia on Sept. 4. Also started and played 31 minutes against Cal State San Bernardino on Sept. 6. Played a career-high 56 minutes at Cal Poly Pomona on Sept. 25. Made her final start of the season and played 40 minutes in a 1-0 win over Humboldt State on Oct. 31. Earned 2021-22 CCAA All-Academic honors and received 2021 CCAA Fall Academic Honor Roll recognition.

2020: Earned 2020-21 CCAA All-Academic honors and also received 2020 CCAA Fall Academic Honor Roll recognition. Team did not compete due to COVID-19.

2019: Made significant contributions for the Golden Eagles in her first year with the program. Appeared in nine games and played a total of 185 minutes. Made her Cal State LA debut and played 21 minutes in a 1-0 win against Concordia-Irvine on Sept. 9. Played a season-high 42 minutes in a 5-0 victory at San Francisco State on Nov. 7. Played 41 minutes for the Golden Eagles in a second-round NCAA playoff game against Western Washington on Nov. 24.
Earned 2019-20 CCAA All-Academic honors.

At College of the Canyons: Earned first-team All-Western Conference honors.

At Cal State Northridge: Was on the roster, but did not compete in any games in 2017.

At Golden Valley High School: Was the team’s Most Valuable Player in soccer and the Rookie of the Year in track and field. Was the first freshman to be on the varsity track team and advanced to prelims and went to CIF. Played for the soccer team all four years and was a sprinter on the track team from 2013-15.

Personal: Daughter of Gonzalo Alvarado and Maribel De la Torre. Graduated with a degree in psychology and is currently in the credential program at Cal State LA. Enjoys working out in the gym, coloring and painting. Lists going to the NCAA tournament in 2019 as her most exciting experience in sports. Notes she hopes to be a strength and conditioning coach for women’s soccer at the college level in the future.
