Biography

2023: Had another sensational season for the Golden Eagles and was a team leader in her final year with the program. Started all 20 games she appeared in and played a total of 1,254 minutes. Had three goals and two assists for eight points. Was tied for third in goals and tied for fourth in points. Earned All-California College Athletic Association honorable mention. Scored her first goal of the season in the 81st minute of a 1-1 tie with Cal State San Bernardino on Oct. 15. Scored the opening goal in the ninth minute of a 2-0 win over Chico State on Oct. 20. Made it three goals in four games when she scored the opening goal in the fourth minute of a 1-1 tie at Sonoma State on Oct. 27. Assisted on a goal by Jessmin Ortiz in the 29th minute of a 1-0 win over Cal State Monterey Bay on Oct. 1 and got an assist on a goal by Itzel Carbajal in a 3-0 win at Cal Poly Humboldt on Oct. 29. Played a career-high 83 minutes in a 1-0 win at Cal State Dominguez Hills on Sept. 23. Earned a 2023-24 D2 Athletic Directors Association Academic Achievement Award. Also earned 2023-24 CCAA All-Academic honors and received 2023 CCAA Fall Academic Honor Roll recognition. For her career, appeared in 60 games with 54 starts. Had five goals and six assists for 16 points. Played a total of 3,269 minutes.

2022: Had another outstanding season for the Golden Eagles and was one of the team’s best players. Appeared in all 21 games with 18 starts. Played a total of 1,073 minutes. Had two goals and one assist for five points. Scored the first goal of her career in a 2-2 tie against Simon Fraser on Sept. 10. Tied the game at 1-1 with a goal in the eighth minute. Scored the game’s only goal in the 34th minute of a 1-0 win at Chico State on Oct. 2. Had a season-high three shots in the win. Played a season-high 69 minutes in a 1-0 win at Sonoma State in the CCAA Tournament championship game. An outstanding student, earned Academic All-District honors from the College Sports Communicators. Earned a 2022-23 D2 Athletic Directors Association Academic Achievement Award and 2022-23 CCAA All-Academic honors. Also received 2022 CCAA Fall Academic Honor Roll recognition.

2021: Had a strong season for the Golden Eagles in her first year of competition. Appeared in all 19 games with 16 starts. Played a total of 942 minutes. Led the team with three assists and finished the season with three points. Made her Cal State LA debut and got the start in a 1-1 tie at Concordia on Sept. 4. Picked up her first assist on a goal by Liliana Gonzalez in the 9th minute of a 1-0 win over Cal State San Marcos on Oct. 14. Had two assists in a 3-1 win at Cal State Dominguez Hills on Oct. 22. Picked up assists on Cal State LA’s first two goals in the first 10 minutes. Got her first assist on a goal by Miyah Coleman just 1:13 into the contest and the second on a goal by Liliana Gonzalez in the 10th minute. Played a season-high 74 minutes in a 1-1 tie at San Francisco State in a CCAA Tournament first-round game on Nov. 7. Also competed for Cal State LA’s track and field team in the spring (2022). Had best marks of 28.64 in the 200 meters and 68.56 in the 400. Earned 2021-22 CCAA All-Academic honors.

2020: Earned 2020-21 CCAA All-Academic honors in her first year with the program. Team did not compete due to COVID-19.

At Upland High School: Scored 18 goals with nine assists as a senior and earned first-team All-Baseline League honors. Also earned first-team honors as a junior. Team won Division 1 state titles in her sophomore and senior seasons. Was the Pablo Robertson Award recipient as a senior. Was on the Principal’s Honor Roll all four years in high school. Competed in soccer and cross country.

Personal: Daughter of Stacey Wickum. Majoring in liberal studies. Enjoys listening to music and being with her service dog, Koda. Lists winning the CIF-SS Division 1 state championship twice at Upland High School and winning the CCAA Tournament in 2022 over Sonoma State as her most exciting experiences in sports.
