Cal State LA Athletics

2024: Was on Cal State LA’s beach volleyball roster in the spring, but did not compete in any matches. Was on the roster in the fall for Cal State LA’s defending national champions, but did not compete in any matches in her second year with the program.

2023: Was on the roster for the 2023 NCAA Champions in the fall, but did not compete in any matches in her first year with the program.

At Schurr High School: Earned All-CIF honors as a senior and was the Almont League Most Valuable Player in back-to-back years as a junior and senior. Received Tournament Most Valuable Player honors and led her team in kills. Team won three straight Almont League championships. Was a life member of the California Scholarship Federation and graduated with Highest Honors. Competed in indoor volleyball, beach volleyball and softball. Had perfect attendance for 12 years.

Personal: Daughter of Ricky and Therese Talavera. Majoring in Kinesiology. Enjoys going to the beach, swimming, going on runs, making acai bowls and spending time with family and friends. Lists winning a national championship during her freshman year in college and making club history at multiple tournaments as her most exciting experiences in sports.
