2024: Was on the roster for Cal State LA’s indoor team in the fall, but did not compete in any matches.

At La Sierra High School: Was a team Most Valuable Player during her sophomore, junior and senior seasons. Earned first-team All-League honors and was a league Most Valuable Player. Also earned All-Tournament honors in beach volleyball.

Personal: Daughter of Jose Marquez and Martha Virgen. Majoring in liberal studies. Enjoys reading, hiking and collecting sea shells. Lists getting to the final rounds of CIF as her most exciting experience in sports.
