Summary

Biography

2024: Competed well for Cal State LA’s beach volleyball team in the spring. Was a regular starter and won a pair of matches with partner Tehya Chadwick, one at No. 3 pairs and one at No. 4 pairs. Played a bigger role for the defending national champions in indoor volleyball in the fall. Appeared in 27 matches and 96 sets. Had 173 kills, 32 digs, 29 set assists, 15 service aces, 261 digs, and 207 points. Was fourth on the team in kills, fourth in points, fifth in aces and second in digs. Had a career-high 12 kills in a five-set win over Cal State San Marcos on Sept. 27. Also had 11 kills in four other matches. Reached double figures in kills in six matches. Had a career-high 14 points and a season-high three aces in a five-set win over Simon Fraser on Sept. 12. Had a career-high 20 digs and six kills in a three-set win over Chico State on Oct. 12. Had a career-high six blocks, seven kills and 14 digs in NCAA Tournament game against San Francisco State on Dec. 5. Reached double figures in digs in 15 matches.

2023: Competed for Cal State LA’s beach volleyball team in the spring. Played in six matches, one at No. 2 pairs and five at No. 3 pairs. Made significant contributions in the fall while helping the Golden Eagles to their first NCAA Division II National Championship as well as a second straight NCAA West Region title and a California Collegiate Athletic Association co-championship. Appeared in 23 matches and 68 sets. Had 27 kills, 29 set assists, 14 aces, 105 digs and two blocks. Had a career-high eight kills in three sets against Regis on Aug. 31 and matched that total in four sets of a win over West Florida on Sept. 8. Also had six kills against Central Missouri on Sept. 8. Had a career-high five aces in a three-set win over Cal State San Marcos on Nov. 3. Had a career-high 10 digs in a four-set win over Cal Poly Pomona and had 10 digs again against Cal State San Bernardino on Nov. 18. Had 32 digs in 22 sets in six NCAA playoff matches, including 21 digs in 12 sets in the national championships.

2022: Joined Cal State LA’s indoor volleyball program in the fall and made meaningful contributions for the NCAA Division II West Region and California Collegiate Athletic Association champions. Appeared in 14 matches and 24 sets. Had 26 kills, four aces, 29 digs and one block. Made her Cal State LA debut and had one kill and two digs in a five-set win over Ferris State on Aug. 25. Had a season-high six kills in just seven swings at Cal State San Bernardino on Oct. 22. Had four kills and a season-high seven digs in a three-set win over Cal State Dominguez Hills on Oct. 7. Had two kills, one ace and four digs in NCAA semifinal match against Concordia-St. Paul on Dec. 2. Competed for Cal State LA’s beach volleyball team in the spring (2023). Played in six matches, one at No. 2 pairs and five at No. 3 pairs.

At Acarkent Doga High School: Competed in volleyball with club team Eczacibasi. Team placed first in Turkey one season and second in the other.

Personal: Daughter of Yalcin and Cagla Cetin. Majoring in math. Enjoys watching movies and exploring new places. Lists winning the NCAA Championship in Pittsburgh with the people she admires most as her most exciting experience in sports.
