Cal State LA Athletics

2025: Was on Cal State LA’s beach volleyball roster in the spring, but did not compete in any matches. Had a strong first season with Cal State LA’s indoor team in the fall. Appeared in 18 matches and 50 sets. Had 40 kills, 21 blocks, 12 digs and 51.5 points. Made her Cal State LA debut and played one set against Simon Fraser on Sept. 11. Had a season-high seven kills, three blocks and 8.5 points in a win against San Francisco State on Oct. 18. Also had a season-high three blocks and three kills in a win against Cal Poly Pomona on Sept. 13, four kills and three blocks in a win against Cal State San Bernardino on Sept. 26 and one kill, three blocks and a season-high three digs against Cal State Dominguez Hills on Oct. 25.

At LA Mission College: Earned second-team All-Conference honors in 2024. Earned All-Tournament honors at the 3C2A Championships. Appeared in 32 matches and 111 sets in 2024. Had 395 kills, 54 blocks and 426.5 points. Also competed in 28 matches and 95 sets as a freshman. Had 206 kills, 27 blocks and 231 points. For her two-year career, appeared in 60 matches and 206 sets. Had 601 kills, 81 blocks and 657.5 points.

At Knight High School: Competed in volleyball, wrestling and basketball. Earned the Best Blocker award for her team and was named Most Spirited in 2019. Was on the school’s Honor Roll.

Personal: Daughter of Esther Sunday. Majoring in political science. Enjoys board games, crocheting and watching movies. Lists being on a team that got her school to the Elite Eight for the first time in school history as her most exciting experience in sports. Notes she loves Jesus.
