Cal State LA Athletics

2020: Was on the roster, but did not compete in any events for the Golden Eagles. Was a valued teammate on both the cross country and track and field programs during his time with the program.

2019: Was on the track and field roster, but did not compete in any meets for the Golden Eagles in his final year with the program.

2018: Competed for Cal State LA’s cross country team and ran in six races. Finished 83^rd in the California Collegiate Athletic Association Championships with a time of 31:21.3 over 8,000 meters.

At West Los Angeles College: Competed in cross country and track and field for the Wildcats.

At Venice High School: Played football as a sophomore and junior and went to a military/police school called POPP Police Orientation Preparation Program run by James Monroe High School. Was also beginning his freshman year of college at the time.

Personal: Son of Gerardo Villa and Jeanette Guzman. Majoring in criminal justice. Enjoys running, listening to music, working out, photography, and volunteering for the Los Angeles Police Department. Lists going to Montana for the West Regional Championships with Cal State LA’s cross country team as his most exciting experience in sport. Notes he has a lot of military and police background.
