Summary

Biography

2020: Was off to a strong start for the Golden Eagles before the season was halted. Had the team’s best mark in the long jump with a leap of 21-5.50 and had a best mark of 44-3.25 in the triple jump. Also had a best time of 11.35 in the 100 meters. Was part of Cal State LA’s 4x400 relay team that had a best time of 3:19.54. That mark was No. 5 in the nation when the season ended. For his career, had best marks of 11.35 in the 100, 23.31 in the 200, 21-10.75 in the long jump and 44-3.25 in the triple jump.

2019: Did not compete for the Golden Eagles and was a redshirt.

2018: Had an outstanding first season with the Golden Eagles. Had the team’s best mark in the long jump with a leap of 21-10.75. Also had best marks of 43-7.25 in the triple jump, 11.39 in the 100 and 23.31 in the 200.

At Cerritos College: Earned the Most Improved Field Athlete award at Cerritos.

At Long Beach Poly High School: Competed in football and track and field. Earned academic honors every year in high school. Was named the Most Valuable Field Event Athlete and ranked ninth in the triple jump heading into the CIF Southern Section finals. Won the Moore League championship in the triple jump.

Personal: Son of David Williams and Shanae Green. Majoring in criminal justice. Enjoys going to new desert spots, adventures, traveling, watching television, designing and relaxing with family and friends. Lists competing at the Mt. SAC Relays and Arcadia Invitational as his most exciting experiences in sports. Says being able to compete against the best was always a great experience and brought out the best in him. Notes that being ranked in the top-10 in the CIF-Southern Section in the triple jump was mind-blowing to him because he had never been ranked before.
