Cal State LA Athletics

2020: Was on the track and field roster, but did not compete in any meets in his only year with the program.

2019: Joined Cal State LA’s cross country team in the fall and competed in seven races. Was one of the team’s top runners. Finished 39^th in the California Collegiate Athletic Association Championships with a time of 26:26.86 over 8,000 meters. Placed 115^th in the NCAA Division II West Region Championships with a time of 32:41.3 over 10,000 meters.

At San Bernardino Valley College: Earned All-America honors in cross country and in the 5,000 in track and field.

At Patriot High School: Was a three-time All-League performer in cross country and a two-time All-League performer in the 1,600 meters in track and field.

Personal: Son of Carlos and Maria De La Torre. Majoring in criminal justice. Enjoys soccer, hiking and traveling. Lists winning All-America honors in cross country and track and field as his most exciting experiences in sports.
