2020: Was on the roster, but did not compete in any meets for the Golden Eagles before the season was halted in his final year with the program.

2019: Joined Cal State LA’s track and field program as a freshman. Had best marks of 16.03 in the 110 high hurdles, 5-8 in the high jump and 107-7 in the discus at the Rossi Relays.

At Arcadia High School: Competed in football, soccer and track and field. Earned second-team All-League honors as a kicker in football during his junior year and received second-team All-League honors in track and field as a senior. Had best marks of 14.86 in the 110 hurdles, 143-4 in the discus, 52.82 in the 400 and 44-2 in the shot put.

Personal: Son of Randy and Clemencia Lugwig. Majoring in Kinesiology. Enjoys watching movies. Lists kicking a game-winning field goal during a second-round CIF football game as his most exciting experience in sports. Says the goalpost was facing the parking lot and a car flashed its lights trying to distract him, but he made the kick anyway. Notes he is the oldest of four kids and that his dad ran hurdles in high school and college. Says he likes dogs.
