Biography

2017: Had a strong second season for the Golden Eagles in his final year with the program. Had the team's best mark in the javelin with a throw of 173-4. Finished ninth in the California Collegiate Athletic Association. For his career, had best marks of 173-4 in the javelin, 114-9 in the discus and 37-10 in the shot put.

2016: Had a solid debut season for the Golden Eagles. Had best marks of 160-2 in the javelin, 114-9 in the discus and 37-10 in the shot put. Finished eighth in the CCAA in the javelin and 14th in the shot put.

At Glendale Community College: Earned second-team All-Conference honors in the javelin and honorable mention in the shot put.

At Eagle Rock High School: Competed in track and field and football.

Personal: Son of Isaias Renteria and Maria Carmen Gomez. Majoring in sociology.
