Cal State LA Athletics

2012: Had a sensational season for the Golden Eagles in his one year with the program. Won California Collegiate Athletic Association championships in the 100 meters and 4x100 relay and also took third in the 200. Earned All-West Region honors in the 100, 200 and 4x100 relay. Had best marks of 10.54 in the 100, 21.36 in the 200 and 50.04 in the 400. Competed in the NCAA Championships as part of the 4x100 relay team and placed 10th in the nation. Finished his career tied for No. 10 all-time in the 100.

At University of Montana: Was a Big Sky Conference qualifier in both indoor and outdoor track.

At Modesto Junior College: Finished third in the Big 8 Conference in the 100 meters with a time of 10.78 and was sixth in the 200 with a time of 22.23. Had a season’s best time of 22.02 in the 200.

At Seaside High School: Competed in football and track and field. Was a two-time team Most Valuable Player in track and field as a junior and senior. Earned All-League honors as a junior and senior and was a state qualifier. Was a honor roll student with a 3.3 grade point average through high school.

Personal: Son of Fredis Carcamo and Leticia Perez. Majoring in communications. Enjoys listening to music, playing video games, watching Netflix, playing basketball and barbequing. Lists qualifying for and competing in the California State Track Championships as a senior in high school as his most exciting experience in sports.
