Summary

Biography

2010: Had an outstanding second season in her second and final year with the program. Appeared in all 20 games and started all of them. Shared the team lead in scoring with 14 goals, 10 assists and 38 points. The 14 goals tied a single-season program record and the 38 points were tied for second all-time. Earned first-team All-West Region honors from Daktronics and second-team All-West Region honors from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. Also earned second-team All-California Collegiate Athletic Association honors. Earned CoSIDA Academic All-District 8 third-team honors. Recorded a hat trick and had an assist in a 4-1 win over Cal State San Bernardino on Oct. 20. Also had two goals in a 2-1 win at California Baptist on Sept. 4 and two goals in a 3-0 win over Cal State East Bay on Oct. 8. Scored goals in the first five games of the season. Had the game's first goal in a 2-1 win at Cal State Stanislaus on Nov. 5 in a CCAA Tournament semi-final game. Had an assist on a goal by Liz Franco in a 1-1 tie against San Francisco State in the championship game on Nov. 7. For her career, appeared in 42 games with 29 starts. Played a total of 2,603 minutes. Had 24 goals and 16 assists for 64 points. Finished her career No. 3 all-time in goals, No. 3 all-time in assists and No. 3 all-time in points in program history.

2009: Had a sensational first season for the Golden Eagles. Was named the California Collegiate Athletic Association Co-Freshman of the Year and earned All-Conference honorable mention. Was also named to the CCAA Championships All-Tournament team. Finished third on the team with 10 goals and 26 points. Added six assists, which were tied for third on the team. The 10 goals were tied for the sixth-most in a single season at Cal State L.A., while the 26 points were tied for fourth. Set a new conference record for fastest consecutive goals when she scored twice in 84 seconds at Humboldt State on Oct. 9. The two goals late in regulation lifted the Golden Eagles to a tie. Scored goals in the first three games of the season against Central Washington on Aug. 27, Hawaii-Hilo on Sept. 2 and Academy of Art on Sept. 5. Had the lone goal in 1-0 wins over Cal Poly Pomona on Sept. 11 and at San Francisco State in overtime on Sept. 20. Was named the team’s Newcomer of the Year.
 
At Arcadia High School: Competed in soccer and volleyball. Was the school’s Athlete of the Year. Was the Pacific League Player of the Year as a junior and earned first-team All-CIF Division 2 honors as a junior. Earned first-team All-Area honors as a junior and senior. Was a team Most Valuable Player twice. Was also the Pacific League Player of the Year as a senior in volleyball and was the team Most Valuable Player. Earned second-team All-Area honors.
Personal: Daughter of Giovanni and Grace Tangorra. Is an undeclared major. Enjoys family, friends, soccer, volleyball and food. Lists winning the CCAA championship last season as her most exciting experience in sports.
