Cal State LA Athletics

2009: Had an outstanding first year with the Golden Eagles. Earned second-team All-California Collegiate Athletic Association honors. Was also named to the CCAA Championships All-Tournament team after posting back-to-back shutouts over Chico State on Nov. 5 and Cal State Dominguez Hills on Nov. 8. Started in 20 of the Golden Eagles’ 22 games. Recorded a 15-3-2 record with a goals against average of 0.69. Made 68 saves and had a saves percentage of .829. Had 10 shutouts and was part of one other. Began her Cal State L.A. career with back-to-back shutouts against Central Washington on Aug. 27 and Hawaii-Hilo on Sept. 2. Made four saves against Central Washington and five against Hawaii-Hilo. Played the first half of a shutout win over Academy of Art on Sept. 5 and then recorded shutouts at Cal State Dominguez Hills on Sept. 8 and Cal Poly Pomona on Sept. 11. Didn’t allow a goal until the first half against Cal State San Bernardino on Sept. 13. Had a season-high eight saves against Chico State on Sept. 25. Stopped a pair of penalty kicks, one at Cal Poly Pomona on Oct. 4 and one at UC San Diego on Oct. 30.

At Paradise Valley Community College: Earned NJCAA Goalkeeper of the Week honors during her freshman and sophomore years.

 

At Millennium High School: Was the Most Valuable Player as a freshman and sophomore. Earned All-League honorable mention as a forward.

 

Personal: Daughter of Ken and Kim Walworth. Majoring in psychology. Enjoys music and hanging out with friends.
