Cal State LA Athletics

2010: Had an outstanding season for the Golden Eagles in her one year with the program. Finished fourth in the javelin, 10th in the discus and 14th in the shot put at the California Collegiate Athletic Association Championships. Had best marks of 37-8 in the shot put, 122-11 in the discus and 128-1 in the javelin.

At Riverside City College: Was the conference champion in the javelin in 2008 and 2009 and the conference runner-up in the shot put in 2008. Finished third in Southern California in 2008 and second in 2009 in the javelin and took fourth in the state in that event in 2008 and 2009.

At Elsinore High School: Competed in track and field and volleyball in high school. Was the team captain as a senior and was the league runner-up in the discus as a junior and senior and qualified for CIF prelims in that event both years.

Personal: Daughter of Tim and Karen Nordby. Majoring in child development. Enjoys coaching volleyball, sewing and scrapbooking.
