Summary

Biography

2018: Made a successful return and once again provided outstanding skill and leadership in his final year with the program. Appeared in 19 games and played a total of 815 minutes. Picked up one assist for one point. Had an assist on a goal by Carlos Zarate in a 2-0 win over Cal Poly Pomona in the California Collegiate Athletic Association Tournament championship game. Earned second-team CoSIDA Academic All-America honors and first-team Academic All-District 8 recognition. Won the CCAA Men's Soccer Championship Scholar Award. Also earned a CCAA Fall Academic Award. For his career, appeared in 40 games with 21 starts. Played a total of 2,563 minutes. Had one goal and three assists for five points.

2017: Was injured prior to the start of the season and did not compete in any games.

2016: Was one of the team’s leaders and best players in his second year with the program. Earned All-CCAA honorable mention and was named to the CCAA Championships All-Tournament team. Started all 19 games for the Golden Eagles. Was third on the team in minutes played with 1,696. Had one goal and two assists for four points. Got the game-winning goal in a 3-1 victory over Cal State Monterey Bay on Sept. 30. Also had an assist on Steven Eberle’s goal in a 1-1 tie against Point Loma on Sept. 3 and added an assist on a goal by Hakon Laugsand in a 4-3 win over Cal State East Bay on Sept. 16. Earned a CCAA All-Academic Award for a second straight year. Named Cal State LA's Exceptional Student-Athlete of the Year (male) for 2016-17.

2015: Was limited to just two games due to injury in his first year with the program. Made his Cal State LA debut and played 28 minutes in a 2-0 win over Sonoma State on Sept. 18. Also started and played 24 minutes in a 2-0 win over Humboldt State on Sept. 20. Earned a CCAA All-Academic Award.

At San Jose State: Competed for two seasons with the Spartans. Played in a total of 19 games with eight starts. Had one goal and two points. Scored his first collegiate goal at Cal Poly (9-15-13).

At Belper School: Competed in soccer, tennis and cross country.

Personal: Son of Stephen and Sharon Croucher. Pursuing a Master’s degree in business administration. Enjoys playing FIFA, reading books and going to the beach. Lists playing in the CCAA Tournament as his most exciting experience in sports.
