Cal State LA Athletics

2015-16: Made big contributions for the Golden Eagles in his one year with the program. Appeared in 12 games with five starts. Played a total of 298 minutes. Averaged 2.8 points and 3.4 rebounds per game. Was third on the team in assists with 37. Had a season-high 10 points to go along with four rebounds and four assists at Northwest Nazarene (11-21-15). Had a season-high nine rebounds at Humboldt State (12-5-15). Had a season-high seven assists against Azusa Pacific (11-17-15). Made his Cal State LA debut and played 30 minutes against Holy Names (11-13-15).

At University of Hawaii: Played in 54 games in his two years with the program. Played in 29 games and started 10 times as a freshman and appeared in 26 games with seven starts as a sophomore. Averaged 2.2 points per game in both seasons and just less than 2.0 assists per contest.

At Workman High School: Was the Montview League’s Most Valuable Player twice. Earned first-team All-Area and second-team All-CIF honors and was nominated as a McDonald’s All-American. Averaged 27 points per game as a senior. Had 43 points and 12 rebounds in a CIF playoff game in his last high school game.

Personal: Son of Patrick Miles and Norma Tamez. Majoring in communications. Lists traveling to Canada, China and Japan as his most exciting experiences in sports.
