2015-16: Had a strong second season with the Golden Eagles in his final year with the program. Appeared in 29 games with 17 starts. Played a total of 524 minutes. Averaged 4.4 points and 3.3 rebounds per game. Had a career-high 16 points against Humboldt State (1-16-16). Had 10 points and a season-high eight rebounds in a 69-56 win at Cal State East Bay (2-20-16). Played a season-high 31 minutes at Cal State San Bernardino (1-22-16). For his career, appeared in 55 games with 31 starts. Played a total of 938 minutes. Averaged 5.5 points and 3.5 rebounds per game.

2014-15: Had a productive first season with the Golden Eagles despite playing through painful injuries. Appeared in 22 of the team’s 26 games and started 14 times. Was sixth on the team in scoring with 6.7 points per game and third in rebounding with 3.7 rebounds per game. Had season highs with 15 points and eight rebounds in his Cal State L.A. debut at California Baptist (11-19-14). Also had 12 points and six rebounds in a win at Cal State Stanislaus (1-31-15) and 12 points and five rebounds against Humboldt State (2-6-15). Reached double figures in scoring six times.

At Saddleback College: Earned second-team All-Orange Empire Conference honors after averaging nearly 10 points and six rebounds per game as a sophomore. Appeared in 29 games with 24 starts. Shot 52.9 percent from the field.

At University of Buffalo: Appeared in 10 games at the Division I program.

At Deer Valley High School: Earned Most Valuable Player and first-team All-Bay Valley Athletic League honors after averaging 17.7 points, 15.7 rebounds and three blocks per game as a senior. Had 50 double-doubles in 64 career games.

Personal: Son of Andre McPhail and Annette Taylor. Majoring in liberal studies. Enjoys writing, volunteering and blogging. Lists scoring 55 points in the first game of his freshman year on varsity in high school as his most exciting experience in sports.
