Cal State LA Athletics

2016-17: Had another strong season in his second and final year with the program. Played a total of 317 minutes. Appeared in 23 games with 12 starts. Averaged 3.0 points and 2.1 rebounds per game. Had a season-high eight points and five rebounds in his season debut at Alaska Anchorage (11-19-16). Had a season-high seven rebounds in a 101-99 win over Cal State San Marcos (2-25-17). Had a season-high five blocks in an 80-66 win at Fresno Pacific (12-10-16). For his career, appeared in 42 games with 22 starts. Played a total of 641 minutes. Averaged 4.2 points and 2.5 rebounds per game. Earned a California Collegiate Athletic Association All-Academic Award for 2016-17.

2015-16: Joined the program mid-season and was a valuable player in his first year with the program. Appeared in 19 games and started 10 times. Averaged 5.7 points and 2.9 rebounds per game. Shot a team-best 60.9 percent from the floor. Poured in a season-high 17 points to go along with four rebounds in a win at Cal State East Bay (2-20-16). Also had 10 points and five rebounds in a home win over Cal State Dominguez Hills.

At American University: Was on the roster, but did not compete in any games.

At George Washington: Appeared in 23 games for the Colonials over two seasons. Played in 17 games as a freshman and six more as a sophomore.

At Simi Valley High School: Was part of a Miramonte League championship team. Averaged 17.8 points and 10 rebounds per game as a senior and was the league Most Valuable Player. Also earned first-team All-CIF honors and was a third-team “Best in the West” selection by the Long Beach Press Telegram.

Personal: Completing a Master’s degree in sociology.
