2017: Continued to excel in his final season for the Golden Eagles. Had best marks of 12.27 in the 100 meters, 24.58 in the 200 and 18-5.75 in the long jump. Was an outstanding student as well and earned California Collegiate Athletic Association Spring All-Academic honors and also 2016-17 CCAA All-Academic recognition. For his career, had best marks of 12.23 in the 100, 24.58 in the 200 and 18-5.75 in the long jump.

2016: Continued to improve in his third season with the Golden Eagles. Had best marks of 12.23 in the 100, 24.75 in the 200, 18-00.25 in the long jump and 38-1.50 and set new personal bests in all four events.

2015: Showed improvement for the Golden Eagles in his second season with the program. Had best marks of 12.53 in the 100, 25.21 in the 200 and 17-7.50 in the long jump.

2014: Competed for the Golden Eagles as a true freshman. Had best marks of 12.43 in the 100 and 25.53 in the 200.

At Bell High School: Graduated with honors. Team won the 2013 Eastern League championship. Placed fourth in the high jump and won the league championship in the 4x100 relay. Competed in track and field and cross country.

Personal: Son of Rogelio and Selfa Diaz. Majoring in Kinesiology. Enjoys playing sports, movies and hiking. Lists competing at the CIF City Championships in the high jump as his most exciting experience in sports.
