Cal State LA Athletics

2012-13: Was on the roster, but did not compete in any games for the Golden Eagles in her final year with the program.

2011-12: Contributed for the Golden Eagles in her first year with the program. Appeared in 19 games for Cal State L.A. and averaged 2.1 points per game. Had a season-high seven points in a win at Cal State Dominguez Hills (12-30-11). Had six points in three other contests. Knocked down nine 3-pointers during the season.

At Orange Coast College: Led the state in 3-pointers with 90 and helped the Pirates advance to the state quarterfinals in 2011. Averaged 11.3 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.5 steals per game and made 81 percent of her free throws. Earned first-team All-Conference honors. Averaged 10.9 points per game and led the team with 59 successful 3-pointers as a freshman. Earned second-team All-Conference honors. Made the school’s Dean’s List.

At Northwood High School: Earned All-League and All-City of Irvine honors as a junior and senior. Holds the school record for most 3-pointers in a game (9) and for a season. Was the team’s Offensive Player of the Year.  Was on the Principal’s Honor Roll all four years in high school.

Personal: Daughter of Joe and Cristina Deal. Majoring in English. Enjoys traveling, hiking and spending time with friends and family. Lists beating UC San Diego in the CCAA Championship Tournament as her most exciting experience in sports. Is the vice-president of Cal State L.A.’s Student-Athlete Advisory Council.
