Four Golden Eagles competed in the second and final event of their fall season against NCAA Division I opponents.
Sarah Olmos, competing in Singles C bracket, played a tough match against Dasee Carter of UC Irvine before falling, 6-4, 6-3. She'll face Weronika Ejsmont of SAC in a consolation match on Saturday at 11 a.m.
In the Singles D bracket,
Sakura Kurokawa had a real battle with Jana Tanevska of Pacific before falling in a three-set match, 3-6, 6-4, 6-4. She will play in a consolation match against Maria Oliveira of YSU on Saturday at 11:30 a.m..
Savaughna Mayo advanced with a bye on Friday and will play Sarah O'Connor of UNM on Saturday at 11:30 a.m.
Courtlyn Lam fell to Jasmine Tolmoyan of CSUN, 6-1, 6-4 and will face Mia Totah of UC Irvine in a consolation match on Saturday at noon.
In the Doubles C bracket, Olmos and Kurokawa fell to Rouf and Tanecvska of UP, 6-2, and then beat Carter and Fowler of UCI in a consolation match. They will face Alter and McSkimmin of SAC on Saturday at 9 a.m.
Lam and Mayo fell to Ejsmont and Tagaloa of SAC, 6-4 before beating Totah and Pavani of UC Irvine, 6-3.
