LOS ANGELES – Cal State LA's women's tennis team enjoyed a successful match at home Monday afternoon.
 
The Golden Eagles got wins in all three doubles contests and then swept the six singles matches in straight sets to beat Westmont, 9-0, at the Cal State LA Tennis Complex.
 
Cal State LA (5-1), ranked 24^th in the nation, improved to 4-1 at home.
 
Nozomi Matsuoka and Kayleigh Hall played well in an 8-5 win over Westmont's Cade Pierson and Isabel Lee at No. 1 doubles. Elizaveta Sokolova and Luciana Di Laura won at No. 2 doubles, 8-1, over Westmont's Sienna Verdult and Zarina Huber and Isabella Lopez and Pyper Brown won at No. 3 doubles, 8-0, over Miyana Wagner and Bruna Chavez.
 
Matsuoka won at No. 1 singles, 6-2, 6-1, over Pierson, Hall beat Lee at No. 2 singles, 6-0, 6-0, Sokolova won at No. 3 singles, 6-1, 6-0, over Chaves, Di Laura won at No. 4 singles, 6-0, 6-0, over Huber, Lopez won at No. 5 singles over Verdult, 6-1, 6-0 and Judy Ung won at No. 6 singles, 6-0, 6-1, over Wagner.
 
Cal State LA will return to action on Thursday with a match at Azusa Pacific at 1:30 p.m.
