LOS ANGELES -- Cal State LA and UC San Diego will complete their four-game California Collegiate Athletic Association baseball series on Sunday at 2 p.m.
The status of the game was up in the air due to weather concerns, but the decision to play the game with a 2 p.m. start was made Sunday morning.
The game will be a seven-inning contest. There was originally a doubleheader scheduled for Sunday, but the opener was moved to Thursday because of forecasts for heavy rain on Sunday.
Cal State LA leads the series, 2-1, after taking a 9-1 decison on Saturday in La Jolla. The Golden Eagles took the opener, 3-2, in 11 innings on a game-winning two-run double from
Paul Martinez at Reeder Field and UC San Diego took the second game of the series at Triton Ballpark, 7-3, on Friday.
