LOS ANGELES – Cal State L.A.'s women's tennis team endured another tough day against a California Collegiate Athletic Association opponent.
 
The Golden Eagles, playing short-handed because of injuries, were no match for Sonoma State and fell to the Seawolves, 9-0, Saturday at the CSULA Tennis Complex. Cal State L.A. (1-4, 1-3 CCAA) dropped its fourth straight match and its third consecutive by a 9-0 score.
 
Cal State L.A. was without the injured 
Princess Manasseh and No. 1 singles player 
Bojana Ducanovic was limited to singles play because of injury. Sonoma State (5-3, 3-2 CCAA), which is second in the conference behind unbeaten UC San Diego, met little resistance in the victory.
 
 
The Golden Eagles' No. 3 doubles team of 
Lana Lamesic and 
Marine Prevost put up a fight before falling, 8-5, to Sonoma State's Jeanette Peck and Stephanie Hoffmire. Cal State L.A.'s 
Linda Majzlikova played well in the first set at No. 3 singles before falling to Molly Maguire of Sonoma State, 7-5, 6-2.
 
 
Cal State L.A. will return to action with a conference match on Tuesday against Cal State San Bernardino.
