At Newbury Park High School: Competed in basketball, cross country and track and field. Earned All-Marmonte League honors all four years. Was part of a league championship 4x400 relay team and finished second in the 800. Won the 800 in the Ventura County Championships and was second in the CIF finals. Advanced to the CIF state meet and the CIF Masters. Had best times of 12.27 in the 100, 24.97 in the 200, 56.51 in the 400, 2:11.73 in the 800 and 5:19.11 in the 1,500. Was a Scholar-Athlete.

Personal: Daughter of Tony and Charis Thompson. Majoring in Health Science. Enjoys family time. Lists going to state in the 800 meters and recording the third-fastest 800 time in Ventura County history as her most exciting experiences in sports. Has a twin sister, Morgan, who also runs track.
