Summary

Biography

At San Joaquin Delta Community College: Was the 2007 California State Community Colleges champion in the decathlete with 6316 points. Was also a state qualifier in the pole vault. Won the Big 7 Conference championship in the pole vault with a mark of 15-3 and won the Nor Cal Community Colleges championship in the decathlon. Also competed in cross country.
 
At Bret Harte High School: Competed in football, wrestling, basketball and track and field. Earned All-League honors in football as a quarterback in 2003. Was part of a league championship team in track and field in 2004.
 
Personal: Son of J. Linker and Patricia Reid. Majoring in sociology. Enjoys hunting, fishing, wakeboarding and snowboarding. Lists winning the 2007 state decathlon title as his most exciting experience in sports.
