Summary

Biography

2010-11: Had an outstanding season for the Golden Eagles in her one year with the program. Appeared in 19 games and started 18 times. Played a total of 562 minutes. Averaged 10.2 points and 4.7 rebounds per game. Was second on the team in scoring and fourth in rebounding. Was also second on the team with 67 assists and fourth in steals with 23. Had a season-high 17 points, five rebounds and five assists against Cal Poly Pomona (12-4-10). Also had 17 points and five assists at UC San Diego (1-13-11). Reached double figures in scoring 13 times.

At University of the Pacific: Earned All-Big West Conference honorable mention as a sophomore in 2009. Averaged 8.4 points per game. Led the team by making 59 of her 3-point attempts. Also led the Big West Conference during the regular season in that department. Hit seven 3-pointers and scored a season-high 21 points against Cal State Northridge (1-2-09). Followed that up with 20 points against Saint Mary’s College (1-4-09). Appeared in 29 games and started 19 times. Was third on the team in scoring. Appeared in five games in 2009-10 before missing remainder of the season.

At American River College: Averaged 19.2 points, 5.4 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game in her one year with the program. Was named to the California Junior College All-State Second Team.

At Roseville High School: Averaged 15.9 points, 3.7 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 2.4 steals per game. Was the Roseville High School Player of the Year, All-Area Most Valuable Player and All-League Most Valuable Player.

Personal: Daughter of Bill and Kittie Tiernan. Majoring in sports pedagogy. Enjoys cooking, sitting and going to Farmers Markets. Lists knocking UC Santa Barbara from an undefeated season and building their undefeated home season at University of the Pacific in 2008-09 as her most exciting experiences in sports. Is a fan of the Los Angeles Lakers and says she enjoys watching the Lakers dominate the NBA Finals every year. Says her favorite quote is “Imperfection is beauty, madness is genius and it’s better to be absolutely ridiculous than absolutely boring” by her idol Marilyn Monroe.
